ive found that when i go on a gocompare quote thing that if i set the volentree excess to 250 and milage to 4000 miles a year that there the cheapest i can get my insurance to quote , if i put excess up and volunteer more my insurance costs more (that dont make sense ) . just something for you to look at

Just had my new quote on my insurance for my gti, they put it up nearly 150 to 585  fully comp with breakdown cover ,just been on go compare i can get it for 285 fully comp ,robbing gits ,will change when it runs out in a couple of weeks , i only pay 138 fully comp on my 600cc motorcycle :D

watch that cos with go compair (and meerkat) I got quotes of £250 less than my renewal, when i rang the companies (I had to for detail confirmation) many of those listed wouldnt touch me because I had "more than 5 modifications" even tho none of them were to my engine.

watch yourself.

£575, all mods declared apart from my new head unit.

I'm the only driver on my policy

21 with 4 yrs no claims

3rd party f&f but going fully comp when my renewal comes through, so it won't be any cheaper than what it is now

:D
