Hi everyone.

This is just a short re-introduction, I'm Dan and I've worked for Adrian Flux Insurance for nearly 24 years.

If any of you on here have any general insurance queries or specific problems with Adrian Flux insurance please let me know. I have handpicked a small but dedicated team of staff who with me will try and assist you wherever possible. I can assure you we will be completely impartial despite being on the payroll of Adrian Flux. If we have messed-up we will acknowledge that and make efforts to get it corrected. If any of you do not understand an insurer’s viewpoint we will do our best to clearly explain it.

It could be problems ranging from simple paperwork issues to major claim disputes. With our many years of experience we should be able to answer most queries immediately. If there were issues or a problem that we can’t answer directly we would ensure that a relevant manager investigates these and we would then be able to relay an answer back.

I hope this will be of some help for you.

On behalf of myself and my team, thanks very much.

Dan.

I think they have possibly lost some insurer's cause they have always been competitive.

I had a similar situation with Flux and another specialist insurer. Flux wouldn't even quote me on the track car (???).

If anybody has had a price that doesn't seem competitive then please let me know and I will look into the price for you.

I would also like to remind you that a recent study showed that 70% of our customers made a saving by talking to us rather than getting a quote online. The reason for this is that many of our insurers don't quote online and we also have flexible discounts and 'flat-rated polices' that we can use in the call-centre too

I did ring and speak. Over £500 over my cheapest quote. Even you can't knock that off Dan.

Same as Steve (vinnyvangough) I rang and spoke to someone at your call centre. Flux refused point blank to insure my track car. Any particular reason for this?

I’m sorry if you have been refused cover for a track car, we do have certain terms to our track cover but it all depends on circumstances.

When you called and asked for track cover the person who you spoke to should have given you a reason to why we couldn’t offer this so if anyone didn’t get it explained to them please drop me a PM with you details and a brief explanation to what happened I will pass it on to the relevant departments to have a look into this.

Regards

Dan

Thanks, Dan. I actually only wanted the track car insured for road use to go to events and shows. I didn't require the actual track day cover.

I can't remember who I spoke with but they seemed to lose interest when I mentioned it was a track car. Even if you were competitive on the quote side of things I don't think I would insure with you based on my experience. I can PM you my details to see who dealt with my query if you're interested?

Thanks.

If you could PM me your details that would be great, again all I can do is apologise if you weren’t given a reason why we couldn’t cover your car.

I've just taken out a new policy with Flux for £168 on my RS2000.  They were £80 lower than my next lowest quote and almost £300 less than what I paid last year. :)

Unfortunately they wanted well over £600 to insure my GTi.

Thanks ste, if you can PM me with your details and what the best price you have had for the GTI I can have a look into this for you to see if we can sort anything better out for you.
