Rear trailing arm bushes on a 63 plate Mondeo

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I had my service in the local ford dealer today and I had an advisory on deteriorating trailing arm bushes ! It's only a 63 plate don't 34k and full ford service history, was so disappointed after singing the praises of my 3rd Mondeo ! , does this sound a big job and should such a young car need them ? It's tarnished my view of fords at the moment ! Ps all my mileage is mostly motorway and not farm lanes , I look forward to your replies - newbie

a quick google search seems to show they are pretty common and its a pretty labor intensive job some sites suggesting they not even last 50k miles id look into polyurethane bushes
