Hello everyone hope you all are having a great christmas and having a good time, ive just become a member to this site today and it all seems good.

I actually need some help on my ford escort i.8 turbo diesel van, its blowing cold air everytime, me and my brother checked everything and it comes down on changing heater matrix, we have tryed everything else such as flaushing, heater matrix, changing thmous start etc, etc, etc, BUT no luck, so therefore i have purchased a brand new heater matrix.

Now everyone advised us on taking the whole dashboard out, whereas we have checked the heater matrix is placed in the passanger side underneath, so we disscounted the clips and remove the two pipes which is near the engine mount, now going back inside the van, i am finding it difficlut to take the heater matrix out slowly from underneath....

Without taking the whole dashboard out, is there any way i can loose (slacken) the heater box from underneath the passanger side, and will the heater matrix come out?

If any one out there has any better way of taking this heater matrix out please do let me know..

many thanks......
